I have a child who is a junior at Simspon, the curriculum change has changed her from a person who has always loved school and been an excellent student into someone who is so frustrated we don't know for sure if she will choose to finish her education at Simpson. She now has an unbelievable amount of reading for each class, an average of 3 hours a night per class, which leaves little if any time to actually "do" the homework assigned in these classes. Studying for tests is nearly impossible. I hear her trying to decide which class she should try to miss just to get her test studying done. She said one student in one of her classes said she felt like she had sold her soul. That is a sad thing to hear. In our opinion Simspon had a good curriculum in place and this change is not going to help their enrollment. I watched this short video and shook my head the whole time.
