Simpson College was host to the third annual IUGO leadership conference.  One hundred sixty students from private colleges across Iowa came to be a part of this event.  Those students had the opportunity to learn a variety of leadership skills.

Culver Center Presents Lecture About Henry Wallace, Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal

The John C. Culver Public Policy center presented a lecture titled “Henry Wallace, Franklin Roosevelt and the Relevance of the New Deal for the 21st Century” in early March.  David B. Woolner, senior fellow and resident historian of the Roosevelt Institute and associate professor of history at Marist College, came to Simpson College to give the lecture about the New Deal and its impact on the United States today.
